How the Ten Gods are derived
The Ten Gods describe the relationship between the Day Master and the other elements through generation, control and yin-yang polarity. They form five pairs: peers, output, wealth, authority and resources.
Names are technical labels
Direct Wealth does not simply mean salary, and Indirect Wealth does not automatically mean windfall. The effect depends on position, strength, source, regulation and links with the rest of the chart.
From symbols to lived themes
The framework can discuss learning, expression, rules, resources, cooperation and responsibility. Interpretations should be phrased as hypotheses and checked against actual experience.
Read combinations, not isolated labels
First establish the Day Master and overall structure, then examine distribution and key combinations. Timing layers show when a theme may become more visible, but one annual symbol cannot dictate an event.
Avoid stereotypes
The Ten Gods should not be used to assign a fixed career, gender role or personality. Their value lies in mapping relationships and tensions while leaving room for context and choice.
